Internship Opportunity: Agoraphone Music Supervision Summer 2011 Internships
About The Company & The Internship Position:
We’re looking for interns to work at our office for as little as one day a week. The internship would be unpaid, for academic credit (optional), open to any undergrad/grad college students. Our schedule is very flexible and we are looking for interns year-round, so fall and/or winter interns are welcome. Description follows:
Agoraphone is an independent music supervision company – we are hired by ad agencies, TV channels, indie film directors, etc. to find music for their projects. We are looking for interns for as little as one day a week to help us maintain our vast in-office music library and to help build our digital music library.
The work primarily consists of listening to CDs and entering them into our customized database, in addition to filing CDs in our library and assisting with a wide range of tasks that arise in the course of creative searches. Interns sit in on daily meetings and have an opportunity to experience the inner workings of the music supervision industry firsthand in a small office environment in DUMBO.
