DubShot Records is hybrid label focusing on Digital Sales and Marketing, Events, Licensing, and Brand Sponsorship. We have a catalog of over 35 albums, and currently working artist development for several proprietary acts. The digital marketing intern will work off site and be responsible for the following:
Updating and expanding DubShot’s online network on all social networking platforms including facebook, twitter, youtube, soundcloud, myspace, and more. Candidate will have full access to our pages and will be encouraged to update regularly and harvest new fans.
Providing updates to the DS blog and managing the content and presentation of the blog, and driving traffic from various other web sites and blogs.
New Media Marketing:
Pitching our digital partners and getting feature placement for our products in the marketplace. We have over 100 digital partners world wide, and candidate will be in charge of tier two partners who generate revenue and exposure for our products.
Posting updates and information on message boards and forums sharing content and obtaining new fans. Researching new avenues for viral distribution and driving traffic to content including online videos, music streams, and more.
Creating advertorial email messages and correspondences for DubShot’s extensive email list. Candidate will be required to learn our D2C marketing partners API, and will send out monthly updates and encouraged to grow the consumer database.
Distributing press releases and media alerts for releases and events, providing access to promotional content, online public relations and feature placement. The candidate will have the opportunity to pitch and to online editors and grow their skills in public relations and publicity.
