About Kite

Here is a brief description of Kite:  Formed in 2008 when Ray Bryant and Ken Coulson met and began writing songs and music together. Producer Alex Theoret and Drummer Hari Ganglberger helped fuse the groundbreaking self titled debut less then 2 months later in Woodstock, New York. The organic egoless fusion rings true on the album that bridges multiple genres and create smiles and valuable introspection. Less than a year into Kite’s existence the band has completed an album and played large shows. In 2009, Kite returned to Woodstock to create a deep and funky set of tunes. Whether it’s Jelle and Tiggy as an acoustic duo or paired one of their many drummer friends as an electric power trio, a Kite show remains an energetic conversation between all those willing to take the plunge and get funky. A kite show will leave you with a desire to wear your weirdest shade, dawn funky hats, and flaunting your individuality with glowing approval!
