Position: Social Media/Online Marketing Coordinator
Machine Shop Marketing, an established entertainment marketing company is looking for a full time Social Media / Online Marketing Coordinator to manage social media campaigns, targeted blog promotions, and web development projects.
Job Responsibilities
- A creative, detail oriented and very organized individual who thinks outside the box with the ability to come up with unique viral marketing strategies and concepts for an array of high profile music, film and entertainment clients
- Day to day client interaction and project management including working on client proposals, project wrap-ups, and marketing around project execution
- Work with team to conceptualize and execute effective social media campaigns for our clients on Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, etc.
- Execution and management of company’s social media presence
- Overseeing website development projects, and blog outreach efforts including communication/proposals/quotes with various vendors
- Putting together email blasts, contests, and updating websites through multiple online backend systems
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge and understanding of implementing social media for marketing and promotional campaigns
- Strong professional demeanor and work ethic
- On top of the latest social media networks and trends
- Experience with viral and online marketing
- Excellent computer literacy. Must be internet savvy and have competency with Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point
- Have an understanding of design software such as Photoshop and Illustrator to alter images, lay out simple designs, and save images for web
- Basic HTML knowledge is a plus
